About us
Our idea of an urban osteria
In 2021, amidst significant global changes, our group embraced the concept of an urban osteria. We acquired, invested in and transformed an old neighborhood trattoria in Trastevere into Vanda.
An informal venue with a characteristic family feel, it recalls the old-style osterias but in a more contemporary setting with its wooden furnishings and ceramics on the walls that evoke the homes of the past. In the heart of Trastevere’s nightlife, it is the ideal stop for a break during the day, whether for lunch, an apéritif, or dinner.

Contemporary Roman flavors on the plate
The success of this contemporary osteria lies in its genuine, traditional cuisine, featuring typical Roman dishes from first courses to desserts, including second courses and side dishes. The menu, which is periodically updated to reflect different seasons, also nods to more modern proposals that blend seamlessly with traditional dishes.

The perfect aperitivo in the heart of Trastevere
The district of Trastevere wouldn’t be complete without an excellent aperitivo to savor in one of its alleys. At Vanda, you can enjoy an aperitivo while seated at the tables outside the establishment or inside on cooler days. Taking a break, enjoying the sunset over the city, and sipping one of the offerings from our Drink List has become an essential stop during the Roman golden hour.
Our wine selection
A proposal for every day of the year
A welcoming venue where the stars are the nearly 800 wine labels adorning the walls of the establishment. Sparkling, whites, and reds, the bottles are categorized regionally from north to south, not forgetting offerings from beyond the borders.
Carefully selected labels from Italian and international wineries, a true paradise for wine enthusiasts, paired with the culinary offerings on the menu.
